Challengers summary: Freshman Tomoe Tatsumi is a genius, having gained admission to a prestigious private college in Tokyo. However, his naivety led to him overlooking the fact that he wouldn't have enough money to rent a place of his own. As a result, he is now occupying an exquisite apartment that costs significantly less than what most people would pay for a single room. The reason for this is Mitsugu Kurokawa, a white-collar worker who appears to be nothing less than a good-hearted Samaritan.
